The quality of FALCAM/Ulanzi is nothing short of excellent. The price that comes with this level of design engineering is unmatched. This quick release strap plate is well built, smooth functioning and I have total confidence that it will hold my camera securely.The design could be tweaked just a bit though. I use a Wandrd Rouge 9L sling and being the strap goes across the chest, the plate sits at an angle. That means the camera will also sit against your chest at that same angle. Maybe a "sling bag strap" version is in the works? I'm not sure. Either way, I'm very pleased with this piece of gear! Don't shy away from this brand or their products!The camera in the picture is a Sony A6000 with a Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 for APS-C
This backpack strap is the best thing to carry your camera while travel and keep it safe, you can run , jump and climb and your camera will be securely holded in your chest
I have a PD capture clip that, with the backpacks I own, fits and works great, but pressed uncomfortably into my chest/shoulder at times. This version of the Ulanzi strap clip has a smaller, more sloped plastic back that is much less noticeable. Now, the attachment mechanism does rely on wire/string that could deteriorate over time, and I don't think it is as flexible on thickness as the PD screw system, but so far it has zero slide, works with all of my baseplates (mostly from Ulanzi so they should) with just a little bit of rattle if I am really active (less rattle than when using the F38 PD compatible baseplates in the PD capture clip). I like it better for my backpacks. Still happily using the PD on a sling strap where it doesn't touch my body, but I will be getting more of these Ulanzi ones for any against body use going forward.

I measured my straps at 76mm x 19mm and this kit does not fit. I installed the longer string that is supposed to increase the max side from 75mm to 80mm but it won't even reach around the straps to lock into the biggest gear. I tried very hard to squeeze my strap to make it fit but there's just no way. It does not fit as advertised.
I had to pinch hard to make it stick to the tighter notch, now it doesn't move. There is a replacement part inside but it doesn't seems to be easy to break.
Good ''clip'' noise when it's attached properly so it's easy to trust. If your camera is heavy or with a big lens and you attached it one one of the shoulder strap, you're gonna feel the weight of it.

I had to pinch hard to make it stick to the tighter notch, now it doesn't move. There is a replacement part inside but it doesn't seems to be easy to break.
Good ''clip'' noise when it's attached properly so it's easy to trust. If your camera is heavy or with a big lens and you attached it one one of the shoulder strap, you're gonna feel the weight of it.
This clip is permanently attached to any of my travel bags, the ease of moving and attaching to bags makes it a no brainer to bring it with you. it doesn't come with a F38 plate which is annoying but at the complete package price point it's great and still cheaper than competitors. Works on my Yeti backpack and my macpac trekking bag without an issue and rapidly changes within a minute. You can just set and forget, you don't have to think about whether its secure still or going to come undone due to the mechanism compared to the previous generations screw mounts. I've attached full frame Nikon DSLR with a 24-70 and had no worries about it staying put. While bulky by my choice in camera system it's functional and frees up your hands while trekking and lets you readily access your camera. overall a great system and works well with their tripod heads for rapid changing between equipment.

I used this strap mount for my backpack. it's build with metal and feel quite strong. it's easy to install, it comes with 1 extra set of wire strings to attach to the back. don't know if the company don't trust its durability or just been nice for future replacement. time will tell. the only think is it did not fit my Manfrotto backpack nicely. it's too small and I had to force it in. hope it will stay there. I have just use it once and so far I like it. very convenient when traveling. recommend this product.
I have tried a bunch of clips in the past that this has to be the most comfortable to wear on a backpack shoulder strap. I did not test the longevity of the locking mecanism. One trip, it looks promising.
